Internal Trainings Offered by CPE Teaching Excellence Training Program
(4 Days Mandatory Training Program for all Faculties, Old and New both) ‘Teaching Excellence Training program’, covered various aspects including teaching pedagogy, faculty role as leader, team manager, and relationship with students, grading and assessments etc. This training session is arranged for all faculties. Seven batches are successfully organized by CPE since its inception of CPE till to date in which 687 faculty members are trained.
It is mandatory training which is started is order to enhance the acquired skills of the academic staff so that they can provide excellent quality education to UCP Students.
Effective Communication Skills at Workplace
In order to grab the knowledge of working relations effectively and efficiently with different partners within an organization and inter-organizational communication, a training on effective communication skills was offered by CPE to Lecturers and Assistant Professors from 8th till 11th March 2022. This training covers how preconceptions and limited perceptions interferes with communication, how to decode and analyses information to produce appropriate answers to official correspondence, how to craft professional email messages etc.
Enhancing Research Productivity-Winning Research Grants
CPE organized a training session for Professors and Associate Professors of University Of Central Punjab on 4th March 2022 on Developing Industrial Linkages. Dr Athar Mansoor Director ORIC UCP was the resource person. This training covers understanding viewpoints of stakeholders for influencing the outcome of the proposal, focus on key sections and contents of the proposal that are required for making the proposal successful, how to win a sponsored research project, understanding the operational, financial, regulatory and business issues to deliver a high quality project.
Developing Industrial Linkages
In order to bridge the gap in between the Industry and the Academia the training workshop on Developing Industrial Linkages was arranged by CPE for all Professors and Associate Professors on 4th March 2022 at UCP. This training covers basics of University-Industry-Government Linkages ,industrial specifics, mutual benefits of enhanced university industrial linkages, how to develop and regulate industrial linkages, how to foster and oversee young industry-oriented researchers and developing industrial linkages.
Outcome Based Education
UCP – Centre for Professional Excellence organized a full day training on 3rd March 2022 for Professors and Associate Professors on Outcome Based Education. Dr. Gul Raiz from Faculty of Engineering was the resource person. The objective of this training is to help the trainees in understanding the roles and responsibilities involved in the implementation of the outcome based Education (OBE) system. This includes the processes involved in an effective implementation of the OBE system, and continuous quality improvement.
Managing Workplace (For Managers, Assistant Managers and Deputy Managers)
Training on Managing Workplace was conducted on 1st and 2nd June 2022 for Managers, Deputy Managers and Assistant Managers of UCP in 2 batches at Webinar Room-C Building by the Trainers “Mr. Talha Zubair and Dr Farooq Tariq Butt”
This training covers “System and Process Approach, How to improve efficiency and Time Management, developing analytical skills and learning how to make use of it at workplace, how to manage time, energy and resources effectively and efficiently, how to maintain the workload and schedule the work task easily, how to do smart work rather than hard work”
Handling Customers and Complaints (For Senior Officers)
Handling Customers and complaints was conducted on 20th and 27th May for Senior Officers and Officers of UCP at Conference Room-A Building by Trainer “Mr. Basharat Ullah Malik”
This training covers response of queries with Empathy, techniques of handling customers, how to analyze and resolve the problem of customer,developing new Innovative methods in responding and counselling, managing team to be more effective and responsive, how to engage, motivate and inspire customers.
Corporate Etiquettes and Manners (For Senior Officers and Officers): Internal Non Academic Staff Training 2nd Quarter 2022
Corporate Etiquettes and Manners-Stress Management conducted by Ms. Syeda Ayesha Noor on 17th and 24th May 2022 for Senior Officers and Officers of UCP in 2 Batches at Conference Room-A Building
This training covers the facts and significance of mental health, importance of self-care, how to manage emotional and practical’s problems, how important stress Management is in making decisions and creating relationships and developing a better attitude and behavior through stress management.

Office Etiquettes and Manners for Semi-Skilled and unskilled Employees of UCP:
Training and development of Semi-Skilled and unskilled Employees of UCP on Office Etiquettes and Manners was conducted on November 21, 2022. The training session was exclusive for all UCP office boys, Security Guards and Lift operators. The session was organized for the purpose of the enhancement of skill with respect to discipline, mannerism and other qualities for performing their duties and roles.The session was specially organized in Urdu for our audience to create a clearer and effective understanding of the session to them
